For WAGS star Barbie Blank, attaining success wasn’t always a smooth, painless ride. Getting to the top of one’s profession can take an exacting toll on one’s body, and Blank and fiance Sheldon Souray are living proof to that testament.
“In every sport, I feel like there is going to be injury,” says Blank, who carved out a successful WWE career. “(With) wrestling, concussions happen every day. So I feel like anyone that gets in the industry, they know that’s inevitable. My fiance (Souray) tore his ligaments completely off his wrists and it was a career ending injury.”
Blank adds that Souray, a former NHL defenceman, had a successful hockey career and was able to “break all these boundaries and just be amazing at what he did.”
