“Delicious Little Tokyo” Hits DTLA In July

During my ten years living in Downtown Los Angeles’ Bunker Hill District, one of my distinct pleasures was taking a 20 minute morning jaunt over to Little Tokyo for some coffee and a little relaxation. The area has changed over the years, and since my visits to the area have been infrequent, I’m looking forward to “Delicious Little Tokyo,” a culinary celebration that takes place in DTLA July 29-31.

Presented by Go Little Tokyo along with collaboration the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), the event kicks off with LTSC’s 10th Annual Sake & Food Tasting Event, Starry Night in Little Tokyo. Guests will be able to try over 5o featured sake along with tasty plates supplied by speciality vendors and over 15 participating restaurants.

During the weekend, select Little Tokyo restaurants will offer special menu items that will only be made available for Delicious Little Tokyo. Food and drink specials, giveaways, cooking workshops, and chef demos are just a few of the culinary activities which should make the trip worth your time.

If you love the area’s diversity of ramen shops or have a discerning taste with sake, visiting Little Tokyo is always a good thing. Prices, festivities and restaurant info will be made available down the road, but for updates on Delicious Little Tokyo, simply check out GoLittleTokyo.com.
