Proceeds will be donated to GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank, a national nonprofit that donates pet food and supplies to animal shelters across the country. Wag!, a dog walking app, has provided millions of meals for shelter dogs in the U.S. The organization’s previous partnership with GreaterGood.org led to $50,000 being raised to aid displaced pets affected by Hurricane Harvey.  Olivia Munn, the guardian to rescue dogs Chance and Frankie, produced Wag!’s first national ad campaign in the fall.

Wag!’s goal is to make “dog ownership easier and more accessible for everyone while improving the happiness and health of dogs everywhere.” The Wag! App enables dog guardians instant access to experienced Wag! Dog walkers in their local community. Many of these walkers serve as volunteers at their local animal shelters.

“I have two amazing rescue dogs at home whom I can’t imagine my life without,” said Munn who is an investor and Creative Strategist at Wag!. “It breaks my heart that so many ‘gifted’ dogs are dumped at shelters during the holidays, causing stress on the poor pups and the shelters’ resources. I hope this campaign spreads the word about all of the amazing shelter dogs looking for forever homes and makes others think twice about gifting a dog during the holiday season.
