It’s hard to find original concepts within any pop culture slice you bite into, and the folks at Darkflow Software have cooked a possibly delicious gaming meal with Cuisine Royale. The MMO shooter is open for alpha testing for gamers ready for some culinary warfare.
Enlisted developers Darkflow Software, Cuisine Royale pits gamers in a deathmatch mode “Battle Royale” where various cooking utensils are used as part of the weaponry. Being a horrendous cook with scant knowledge of the kitchen (I actually had to google “colander while reading the press release!), I’m loving the chance to actually use a frying pan or wok pot (although it won’t be for cooking).
Loot boxes will be available on the battlefield as well as juicy steaks and bread buns to replenish one’s health. Thirty players will start each session, as each individual will fight their way to the center of the map with an only the best survive mentality.
