The Bunker Hill section of Downtown Los Angeles holds a special place in my heart, and for years I’ve always wondered how they would utilize a huge, tucked away space at California Plaza. As of Tuesday, August 1, Firenza Pizza is now open for business in my old stomping grounds, and I’m glad to report the pizza (and service) is definitely on point.
A flock of hens will be introduced to their forever families Saturday, January 7 in Downtown Los Angeles. The Animal Museum is hosting the event from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. More details after the jump.
During my ten years living in Downtown Los Angeles’ Bunker Hill District, one of my distinct pleasures was taking a 20 minute morning jaunt over to Little Tokyo for some coffee and a little relaxation. The area has changed over the years, and since my visits to the area have been infrequent, I’m looking forward to “Delicious Little Tokyo,” a culinary celebration that takes place in DTLA July 29-31.
